    Unplug it, throw a meter on the power side to confirm you are getting power. If not, easy fix with the fuse. If you have power, gotta look at the rigger. I'm pretty sure there is a verified Cannon tech in Buffalo/West Seneca if it needs work. Changing parts on these is quite easy though.

    Previous owner had the wiring so wonky with the batteries he had. Helm off one main battery, accessories of the other main and riggers off the accessory battery. Threw in another perko, some ARCs, 25' of 0ga wire and a bag of zip ties.... .good to go. No more autopilot quitting and having to jump a starting battery.     Rewired some electrical, few new reels, new wire. New spoons, flashers and meat rigs of course.

    We use a bucket. Grab a bucket full of water, bonk the feesh, hack the gills. 5 min later, throw fish in cooler, dump bucket. No lost feesh. Works for all sizes.

    Had a transom mount transducer with twin inboards. Did it work while trolling? Yes, but not as well as I had hoped. At faster trolling speeds, there were times there was more interference. Made the switch to thru hull, but kept the transom mounted 'ducer installed to compare. Using both back to back, the 600w thru hall outperforms the 1000w transom mount 'ducer at all trolling speeds and cruising. Better picture and less interference.

    There are a lot of charters out of Olcott and Wilson. I don't know any well enough to recommend one over another and I'm betting your can't go wrong with most/all of them. 4 mile is within 20 min of Olcott and Wilson. Sent from my SM-G965U using Lake Ontario United mobile app

    If you want to travel 20-40 min east towards Wilson or Olcott, there are a LARGE number of charters that will take care of you.
