  1. i have nothing against rigs at all I choose not to run them I like individual rods one lure per placed at a particular spot in temp above temp bellow temp. I have all my coopers and cores segment so each rod has a particular place in the water column and Jason you know my father you know I can rig fish I just choose not to do so I'm very comfortable with my way of fish as I'm sure you are yours and I will give up those few extra lures to keep that comfort level. The most lures I have run durning club events is 11 and that's with 3 guys 9 rods,, free sliding cheaters on the riggers give me my 10th and 11th lure in the water... And I would give up riggers if I had to choose between divers and riggers I like pulling quad divers and long line coppers
  2. Southenders have robbed some big fish from the north end lol
  3. Can't make that a no rig or all rig deal though that's a open day just no more than 20 lures is what we said last time
  4. Will there be a no rig event??? Lol[emoji23][emoji23][emoji23][emoji23]
  5. Seneca is fighting to keep its goods this year. Good job hooking some fish keep it up
  6. trust me when I say it's not that people stay on them it's that they are everywhere caught them from 20' down to 130' down in 60fow and the middle of the lake small spoons mag spoons flasher flys they eat everything it's beyond annoying honestly for me at least. Sure didn't target them yesterday they are just unavoidable and I covered some water.
  7. Good job josh. Glad you and your crew did well.
  8. Lakers were going crazy last Sunday morning in 200fow nonstop action for almost 2 hours with a few doubles. And a big one to boot
  9. Good job and great to see those smaller class fish that's a good thing
  10. Good job sir, now get back to Ontario kings kings kings
  11. if you are saying that salmon fishing on the southend is better this year then it has been, than my hat is off to you sir. I for one have noticed a huge decrees in them, are they still there yes but I know for a fact 3 summers ago could fish a evening for 4 hours and get 4-5 in the 6lb class and a bunch smaller and also some bigger. Now I fish it for 8 hours and hope to catch a few salmon. I don't have the 20 plus years of experience fishing on that lake like some do but I can say in my last 10 years of fishing it hard, it's changed a lot. And I agree that we see a bigger better class of fish in the last 2 summers my boat has seen multiple lakers 14+ pounds Browns from 10-14 pounds 2 rainbows that were over 12 and a salmon that I won't even put a number on just gonna say big . But with that said I would like to see more smaller fish. And my self along with others did help with lake trout stocking on the southend last year and hope to see that continue for a for years . Joe
  12. Recreational use? Or charter tournament boat?
  13. Thanks guys it was a nice day to be on the water for sure and 3 fish in 45 minutes worth of fishing is a improvement for that end of the lake for sure
  14. Launched the boat at 9.00 this morning planing a relaxing day at the sandbar, figured may as well set lines for a few minutes set 3 riggers when I hit the drop with in minutes had first fish on the 85 rigger pulling a custom painted pro troll dual fin. Fished over to the west side spun around and came back across the front locked up with another one on the 131 rigger but that one came off. So put the rods up went into the sand bar cleaned the boat hung out with friends and cooked out left at 5 figured I would fish out and back in set the same pro troll at 111 and cowbells at 131 again and once again within minutes had another laker from 131 picked the rods and loaded the boat. Great day and happy 4th to all on the water.
  15. Was that one on the probe rigger or the diver lol
  16. I have some spin doctors and flys I would sell
  17. i miss my boat that had no fish finder I feel I caught more fish lol.. Guy at s ramp once asked me how do you catch fish with no finder well try various depths both fow and lure, well how do you know that fow your in I pointed to the rigger he looked puzzled I said send it in the mud. He laughed and asked how do you know where the fish are, simply smiled and said we catch them!
  18. Way to go Mike good job on my least favorite lake lol it and I don't agree with each other i tried to like it once upon a time
  19. Can't agree with rustyrat more!!! Adapt and over come. And there is no reason to delete your profile why limit your own opportunity to gain knowledge. As for the world wide deal I think it's great personally! I know I myself have gained info from all across the country and even other countries, I mean Google brown trout are little slice of heaven here in New York isn't the only place with them. And the knowledge to be gained from others is Pericles, suggestions, ideas, tactics tons and tons of info only a click or two away . Personally it's foolish not to use the resources that we have at are disposal.
  20. i know you were not referring to me I was just giving you a example of why someone may possibly be reluctant to post or give out public info. But the lack of post from someone is no reason to bash them sir, also some I'm sure, feel they are not up to par to post and I couldn't disagree more with that feeling. many could get the feeling of I only got one fish or two so I won't post thinking they did something wrong but in reality that's the post that should be up and give everyone a chance to help suggest idea analyze the circumstances and better the next trip I learn more from slow fishing then i do fast fishing fast fishing small details get skipped since they are not needed. slow Fishing i tend to pay more attention to speed lead length turns structure sun pressure wind currents direction all sorts of things. And I have realize I have gone off topic from the original intent of this post but I hate seeing the feuding and want that part to stop, I myself am just now starting to work things out with a good friend that I'm sure will be reading this post also and all the problems start as little petty things that could have been settled completely different at the begging. Once again I wish you the best of luck on the water tight lines.
