  1. It's all good. Launched at 9:30. We went 14 for 16 with a 10 lbs Atlantic!! Small gold sticks were what they wanted today!!
  2. Does anybody know if the launch is open for the season? And if they have their docks in?
  3. Troll some floating stickbaits on 12 lbs line about 50-100 ft behind you.
  4. They pull out more to the side of the boat. They tend to drop back more without them.

  6. Just top off your oil. No need to change it. And you definitely want to run the non-ethanol gas.
  7. I was by there Tuesday. Launch was clear. Ice was piled up behind warrens and capt jacks. Channel looked clear. Water level is way low. Dock isn't in.
  8. You could also pull the wire off. And put some backing line on underneath the wire to fill up the reel. Much cheaper and you won't be dealing with a knot in the business end.
  9. He has them for sale on his website. Look all the way down on the left. http://dreamscometruecharters.com/
  10. You really won't need wire diver set-ups in April. You can run a slide diver or dipsey off your mono set-ups.
  11. Heat tip up with lighter...pull off with needle nose...gently scrap rest of glue/threads off with a razor blade...apply super glue...put new tip on. Super easy! 3-minutes per rod.
  12. I run 12 lbs leader in the spring. Sorry I misread.
  13. Yup. Tuf line micro lead core. I use the same short cores as SWR later in the year.
  14. Yup, that's what I do. But you can run different sizes.
  15. I would target browns and consider a king a surprise bonus catch. I caught a few kings last spring on spoons fished off short coppers and lead cores in 20-60 fow. I've heard slide divers work well too.
  16. Clear or black. You won't have any trouble finding them online.
  17. The chute and coast guard launch will be free soon. Not to say you might not return to an ice dam in the channel!
  18. Daiwa Sealine LC5 from Cabelas!! SG57LC with 6.2:1 ratio for $109!!
  19. No prob. I just ordered another one too. Good deal!
