  1. GRab a couple of the Michigan Stinger Gobys. It catches everything in the lake!
  2. You are in a perfect place to start. 80' is good starting point, check deeper from there. A little heavier jig wouldnt hurt 1oz-1 1/2oz. I suggest hitting the bottom and reeling up 30' at a good pace and stopping. repeat..

  6. Nice job guys! Sounds like a great weekend.
  7. Skaneateles is one of my favorite lakes to fish. Nice rainbow fishery, crystal clear water and scenery. Hard to pass up if you ask me. Back ten years ago I bought some Luhr Jenson needle fish spoons for Skaneateles on a hot tip. Didn't fish it till last year lol. We hammered em. Good luck
  8. Sharp! Good luck this season. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  9. I was there this morning along with a few others. I am still making the turn into the one section of the marina and missing the shallow part of the shoot. I was the biggest boat to go out of meyers today being a 19' alluminim. Surface temp varied between 37-37.6. Lakers are hungry to the north and full of gobies.
  10. Ive launched at Myers 3 times in the last week.
  11. Forgive me if Im the last to hear about this but Myers has its own weather station beacon. I saw it the other day and wasnt sure what it was but i found a link on the town website. http://www.windalert.com/spot/166152

  15. Thanks for the report. They should start filling the lake today or they might wait till after the snow storm. As soon as we get another 6" of water its go time for me. Good luck out there!
  16. I am a fingerlakes fisherman and I only run inlines on my boat so far. I own the mast system and all the goodies but the ease of the inlines makes it hard to switch. I run flatlines as well as coppers upto 300' without any trouble on tx-22's. After a few seasons of great success Ive also noticed the down side to inlines. If you hook a fish over 9ish pounds and they dive they will take your board down too (Depeneding on how you like to hook up your boards). Forcing them to spin... its not fun. I have a few methods im going to try this year to correct this... But as far as loosing fish I guess I would disagree with some on this thread. I almost never loose a fish on inlines. I think the forward motion of the boat and the constant pull to the side of a inline create a tight line and I almost never loose a fish. If I was a Lake O fisherman I would only use inlines on browns and in shallow water so they couldnt sink the board...
