    ^ they are in my opinion the most bad ass fish in the lake but pound for pound nothing fights like a steelhead. Unfortunately all the heavy gear we use for the kings negates the fighting power of the smaller steelhead.

    Haha you guys are killin me with all this bickering. I prefer the kings but the trout have their place as well. As far as the LOC in my opinion he can do as he pleases. I'll fish it no matter what. During the late fall months in the tribs tho I hate the kings and love the trout.

    They changed the rules so only a salmon can win. On the loc.org page it specifically says grand prize for the largest salmon.

    Hate the flea flicker. The oval shape it has can cause it to twist in the water and it doesn't sit in a reel well.

    Georgeous boat. If this was available 2 years from now I would be all over it. Not ready to upgrade from the 21' yet.

    Lookin at a possible family reunion down there ad besides the beach, booze, and food I'm looking to get a charter. I've seen what species are down there but I was curious if any of you had ever been there and if there were any captains you would or wouldn't recommend. Trips about a year away so I got time to look around.

    Here's along the shoreline in Sodus a few days ago. Promising. A few warm days and rain in the forecast should clean this up some. On the downside it's going to blow out and muddy up the tribs that keep me occupied til I can get the boat out
