  1. heres the link http://www.ebay.com/itm/Contour-ROAM-Hands-free-HD-Camcorder-1600-DELUXE-KIT-NEW-/170971636228?pt=Camcorders_Professional_Video_Cameras&hash=item27ceb42204
  2. Action sports cameras such as a GoPro and contour Roam are typically what most guys use. They're compact and lightweight and can easily clipped onto a hat, chest pack etc for stream fishing. They also work well on boats where you can attach them to pretty much anything like nets, rod holders, boat tops, etc, and even to downrigger weights using waterproof housing and a custom mount. If u want just surface shots any style video camera will do. I personally just purchased a contour roam and like it a lot better than the GoPro. There's a head band mout for it and it rests on the side of your head as you fish for a point of view shot. It's pretty cool watching a hook set and a big chromer shoot out of the water all over again. Not to mention the contour roams are $100 cheaper. I got mine on eBay for $80 off on a buy it now option and came with tons of accessories including the waterproof housing. Best thing was I only paid $119.99 Good luck there's a lot of options. 4. If your catch and release fishing a single hook increases the survival rate of the fish particularly of steelhead that can be much harder to revive than say a king. Not to say they can't be revived fishing a treble but I would think less punctures means less stress on the fish. [ Post made via iPhone ]
  5. New to this ice fishing thing. Anyways think shes frozen up solid by saturday? Its pretty d@m* cold out there.
  6. ehh stackers piss me off. I cant do it unfortunately. They tangle sometimes and if your bottom line goes you have to pull the whole rig up and reset. Id rather have one go, hit auto up, land the fish, reload the rigger, and keep going.
  7. Just curious as to if anyone has been getting anything off any of the piers. Considering a little trip in the next few days. [ Post made via iPhone ]

  10. Did 30 Kings all over 30 lbs, about 6 browns, a steelhead and about 10 chickens.
  11. Recently bought a penn yan with an 8' Beam. Would it be best to run one rigger right down the middle and 2 off the sides at a 90 degree angle away from the boat. Thought about doing 4 but for a 21' boat and after adding dipseys and such seems it would get a bit crowded.
  12. Is it Spring King time yet?
  13. Confused on the mooching reel. It's not a center pin right? [ Post made via iPhone ]
  14. You could pull musky lures and browns would hit them. Theyre simply voracious in the spring. But yeah i didnt realize those were 3 treble sticks. Mine are 2 and about 6 inches in length.
  15. 30 ft penn yan with twin tunnel drive 350s. With of course every fishing accessory possible to dominate the Great Lake Ontario! [ Post made via iPhone ]
