We were out of mexico yesterday and stayed in shallow 120-190 fow. Had a good screen but couldn't get em to bite. Got two fish a steelhead and a brown both on green/white FF's. That was about it. Spoon bite was dead for us. Broke some lead off (bad spot in it?) and lost a KOS spoon and what we think was a king on our only spoon hit. Fished 3pm-7. The other boat that was with us did a nice King in the same depths on white FF.

Thinking of trying the SWR but don't want to make a mess of the wires on each side. Normally we run them on 2 setting. What are the chances that on a turn the SWR slides into the wire?

Does anyplace sell the new UV stinger tape for Mags or the black/glow (replacement for NBK) ladder tape for Mags?

I use 30# or 50# power pro backing. 30-50 ft piece of 30# mono tied with willis knot to leadcore. For a rod I use okuma copper/leadcore 8'6. Nice guides that pass swilvels and knots for only $40. I have gotten up to 7 colors on my sealines.

1/0 is standard for Mag spoons correct? As come on the NK MAGS? that is the exact size im after pretty sure they are 1/0....

ive done best with 10-12 ft leads and mag spoons. but usually only get 1 fish per trip on it

i ordered from tgloutdoors over a week ago. both the 1 and the 1/0 size. The #1 size came and a note saying they were sorry but they didn't have the 1/0.... #1 size is too small for mag spoons (great for 28s tho) thats why Im after the 1/0

I have been trying to find the VMC 9650 trebles 1/0 in nickel. Can't seem to find them anywhere. Even captain hooks is missing this one size. Gloutdoors shows them instock online but they don't have them. FishUSA doesn't carry them. The list goes on. Where can I get them online?

fished 4 hrs yesterday afternoon with the same results. we marked very few fish and maybe 4-5 wads of bait total. even had some arcs drop on the screen to our baits but 0 hits. last week and the week before we had 9 hits and 13 hits...... we weren't expecting a skunk after that.

we fished out of Mexico yesterday and didnt move a rod. Fished anywhere from 110-200 fow. All the go to lures failed. I dont know where the fish went?? We saw boats inside in REALLY shallow water (40-50) and then a few out with us. Sounds like the fishing is better in Sodus.

Fished Mexico today 7/20 finally being able to get out after all the wind. Fished 330-645pm and got 0 hits with 7 rods out. Cores, riggers and divers all failed. Went anywhere from 120-200 fow. And used everything we could, easily tryed 15+ different spoons as well as a few FF. What happened? Where did the fish go? Our worst outing to date not even a hit! Didn't mark many arcs and marked even less bait. Saw a few other boats out as well, talked to one guy at the launch who also didnt budge a rod.

call ALL Seasons. Bet they'd stay open for ya. And awesome selection of mag spoons/flys everything you need.

At the oak webpage says to 'jerk the line clipping to it into place.' I have tried this and it seems the rig would still slide on the line. By jerking it you form a loop on the inside of the add-a-line guides. This loop isn't really locked and more line can slide into it making the loop bigger. Must be doing something wrong
