  1. Don't know if this will help but the bait and fish we found were associated with points out into lake, white spoons on leadcore running about 30 to 45' deep worked for us, as the morning went on go deeper for Lakers with any spin doctor with Seneca ghost fly (white) 85' deep, also try a green fly out too. 2.0-2.2 speed, turning in and out around points got hits for us on cores on inlines, #1 dipsy back 250-285 with ff also hot. 14' off dipsy with 20" flasher to fly lead. GOOD LUCK! Start mid lake go North either side, shallow first find bait stick with it.... If you haven't fished it get a contour map to find points out into lake. Oh if you need gear stop into Hills Valleys and streams they have it all and great advice! Elmira... if you do not catch fish on what they sell you I will buy it back from you! Seriously! 2. Oh I forgot to give you some secret locations Mike... the biggest fish are in their early pattern and are biting well out on south Jeffries, watched Marciano catch an 85" one, I would start there Sunday if I were you! Sent from my C771 using Lake Ontario United mobile app

  6. I wouldn't bring those FLT spoons to Cayuga they won't work:D.... Great stringer... I tried to warn the fish in Cayuga but they probably won't listen.... Sent from my C771 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  7. Awesome weekend ended with too many Lakers to count, 3 salmon, one 4 lb bow, (released at net, lol) and one brown that was almost 7 lbs. Perfect fathers day with a buddy and his 12yr old son. Overall had some where around 21lbs for Three fish. But was a day for the kid to remember since he picked the spoon ( out of my FLT choices) that caught the Brown, and he reeled it in! Priceless! 17. 14' of 30 lb. Big game. Hand line em in to net. Huge difference for me in catch rate, used to run 8' or less, experiment for yourself! Also more important is the leader length from flasher to fly, some days 24" plus, some days 12" or less, then colors..... Sent from my C771 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  18. Yup caught a huge one in Owasco last weekend, small blue stick on board, Delicious! Sent from my C771 using Lake Ontario United mobile app

  23. Do love Cayuga... but I am not betting the farm, Mike your setup is top-notch we will do our best to hang with you and all the other top notch fishermen/ women in the FLTA can't wait! Next tourney for us is the 333 MLP, June 14-15 Cayuga! ( our practice.. lol) Sent from my C771 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  24. Awesome job Mike! Went in a bit blind having never fished Owasco before. We went a few miles up hit the first point saw bait popping shallow marked a small cloud and our 45 rigger with a DWB scorpion takes a vicious shot and we land a nice bow. Back around and pick two Lakers on same spoon. Decide to keep heading North hit one more Laker (small) end up North end 100-120 fow set out my favorite FLTACKLE paddle ( green ITO fly) on #1 dipsy back 280' "wire rod" start to get a consistent bite. Upgrade our box to just over 20 lbs ( third) with 4 fish. Fun day on water overall 7 for 10, lost a really hard fighting fish on dipsy.... looking forward to Cayuga!
