  1. This may be a long shot, but I have a new, unopened Crimson Trace laser grip for a Glock full size 17, 17L, 22, 24, 31, 34, 35, 37, 20SF, and 21SF. 3rd generation only. I’d like to trade it for a Daiwa Saltist LW Reel, prefer size 40 or 50, line counter or not. Reel should be in new condition. Will be shipping to/from Michigan. Thanks!
  2. Awesome. Looks great! Pike are my preferred table fare in the winter. I plan on targeting them more on the ice and in the boat this year. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United

  4. Yeah, you are already in the doghouse! Lol. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  5. Just thought I would pass this along. This guy has 4 big jon heavy duty rod holders for sale. $55 each + $6 shipping. Killer deal., won’t last long. The guy has a zero seller rating, so you might want to message him first. The gold standard for dipsy divers, IMO. I don’t need any more rod holders, my wife would kill me. Lol. https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.com%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F173026328379 Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  6. That 25-06 is a nice gun... Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  7. You are welcome. They have rail mounts on Amazon for $40 for the Remington model 788 22-250. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  8. You can buy a picatinny-style scope mount base for Weatherby, Remington, Winchester, Browning, and possibly others that lines up with your factory holes. I’m going to install one on my Remington 700 30-06 so I can share a tactical scope with my R15. The mounts, I’ve found, are $25 to over $100 depending on brand. 12. I recently spoke to a guy that fishes Lake Erie. He said he mainly uses 2” spoons for walleye, behind jet divers, and frequently limits out with that set-up. If any of those are heavier jigging spoons, I would use them for ice fishing. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  13. Looks like a central mudminnow or banded killifish Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  14. I will take it if you can ship it to Michigan. (Just kidding). Nice shack for someone! Very generous of you. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  15. You are welcome. I drilled a hole near one end and chamfered each side. Making sure there are no burrs is key. In my application, I tie with a few loops of mono because I want the weight to break off if I hit an obstruction, which has actually never happened, and in your case you might want something more permanent like coated wire or run some type of ring through it for an attachment point. 16. I made up some alternative weights with 1” D x 12” L solid steel pipe. Painted them black and added orange stripes. I use them to scratch bottom for lake trout. (X2 on Harvey’s weights and down-rigger torpedos....he’s the best). Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  17. Awesome!!! Nice job and great idea. Thanks for sharing. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  18. I used the iPhone version all summer, several miles out on Lake Huron. Worked perfectly and was very accurate. I will be using it for ice fishing this winter. I bought the US and Canada version, as I’m always traveling through the boundary waters. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  19. I fabricated a snowmobile trailer in Michigan and they only required a weigh slip from a certified scale. I brought a couple receipts that I had, but not all of them. It felt like the DMV was more interested in the license fee than the details. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  20. Yeah I agree. The $5+ priority mail box is a thing of the past. Now it pushes $12 to $14. I’m surprised every time I go to the post office. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  21. Thanks Double Dipper, I will check out Mad River. I have tons of clean Dodgers and several flashers I can upgrade. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  22. You are welcome and good to know! Awesome story. I’ve never used the fireworks pattern, but I just bought some to try out for next year. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United

  24. For those of you looking for die cut tape for Dodgers, this guy is selling them on EBay in 12 colors, including silver fireworks. I use the green color for lake trout. https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.com%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F252826187426 Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  25. I remember the day like it was yesterday. We had the same weather at our house, about 1.5 hours from Whitefish Point. November gales. Thanks for posting. Always good to remember the lost. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
