  1. I feel like after hearing all of you that I shouldn't have bought the book as there is not new tips or techniques
  2. Thanks Matt, I hear you, my goal this year is to be more consistent in our catches. Looking back I remember mornings where either the riggers or wires suddenly shut off and I wish I would have mixed it up more to get them moving again.
  3. We only have the ability to run two riggers so, our typical program is spoons on riggers and flasher/flies on the wire dipsies. After reading I was thinking maybe trying the full flasher/fly program at first light but to me, I know we have moved rods with spoons at that time too. Thanks Tomy
  4. Junk lines meaning lead or copper?
  5. I read the book myself, what about the early morning method of running all flashers in a concentrated group? Does this method work?
  6. I have a new NK with a white w/ sparkle back in a UV gator color so I guess I will have to pick the right conditions to fish it
  7. I wrote that response incorrectly, that's what I meant, thanks. I have some but have been unsure about when to use them. Thanks again
  8. So white backs that are not glow are not really a good option without murky water conditions?
  9. Question, are there conditions where spoons with the backs painted white in lieu of silver work best? Thanks Tomy
  10. I got a chance to do some fishing while down in Ft. Lauderdale and had a blast catching a Wahoo, a Mahi, and 2 Blackfin Tuna. What a beautiful morning to fish. It was a cool experience to fish a different style of trolling for some great fighting fish. These were the best eating fish I have ever had. It was a sight to see as my guide was fileting the fish to see a school of Jack Cravels and Tarpon swim below looking for scraps. A nice break from frozen reality back home. Tomy
  11. He has done the same for me, I agree, exceptional customer service Tomy
  12. Thanks guys!
  13. Anyone fish out of Ft. Lauderdale and found a good fishing charter? Thanks! Tomy
  14. Looks like a Mirage fly
  15. I didn't think anyone kept tigers for the reason that they are a sport fish and did not naturally reproduce so keeping them would hurt the numbers
  16. We always release any tigers caught, we will keep a couple northern to eat and release the rest
  17. We went 3 times last year without a flag, year prior was much better
  18. Thanks Gambler
  19. I haven't seen any posts, looking to go for some northerns, anyone been doing well? Thanks Tomy
  20. We were looking to visit vendor booths for new spoon and SD colors, probably be more on Sunday?
  21. Is Sunday the only day where you can visit vendor tables and buy new products?
  22. Beautiful birds, I really want to get a red or canvas to get mounted. Nice job
  23. One year I was putting out decoys in water close to my chest and when I turned to head back to shore a rouge wave hit me from behind and anyone that knows, when you get out in the water deep enough in waders, you feel some buoyancy in your legs, well, that wave caught me off balance and I couldn't keep my legs under me and went down chest first. It was late season we very cold temperatures and I think everyone on the lake heard my scream from the cold! Lucky I was not alone and close enough to home to run home and change so I could get back. Point is, you never know what can happen out there and cold temperatures and water are things to respect so you can come home after each outing. Tomy
