    We picked up an hour too late yesterday and the lake went from flat calm to the ocean in no time, crazy. I should have listened to my wind app! Good job

    Went out with my brother yesterday morning, we fished from 6 AM to Noon, we ended up going 14 for 19, 8 small coho and 6 browns ranging from 3-8 lbs. All stickbaits for us in a variety of colors both brights like firetiger to blue/silver. 13-15 fow, found some nice green water at 47 degrees. Beautiful morning until the wind kicked up. First day out and ended up with our best morning to date. It felt so good to be back at it! Tomy

    I bought ff last year and it feels like fishing with rope but it does great with fleas, I didn't realize 30# would work too, thanks

    Slips are open but ice on the remainder of the bay. Channel is slushed up pretty good. Came to the realization that I am not fishing anytime soon. Tomy

    My memory no matter what she does going forward was when I took her out for her first season (late season) and we dropped a goose about a 100 yards out, she swam all the way out and brought it right to my feet. She was nine months old. The bird was too heavy for her to lift her head once she got to shore, it was great.

    Sorry for your loss, I have a black lab that I trained since she was a pup and duck hunt with, she will be 5. I am not looking forward to that day that every pet owner dreads. You just have to make the best with the time you are given and it clearly looks like you did. Tomy

    Just bought one in Mag size at Mitchell's last Saturday. It was his last one out but he told me that he has boxes of NK's in his basement. Might be worth a call to him.

    All good points Chris, I enjoyed the book regardless. I like everyone else can't wait to get out on the water. I tell you what though, my brother and I took a trip out to Narby's on Saturday morning since we had never been and the whole drive along the lake all we could see was all the damn ice!
