  1. A lo of guys here use them. Best option is debatable depending on what you are looking to run off them There are plenty of other options available also. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  2. Long tail blackbirds in tree and 42 degrees at 6:45am. Birds singing like a spring day. 6-12" coming tomorrow morning. Lol. Yep its gonna be awhile yet . Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  3. I'm guilty as well and are aware that radio should be on 16 for most part. Have considered putting a second radio on board for this very reason. Are licensed charters required to have 2 radios? Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  4. look on Ebay. Just have to note serial number as they changed a bit after 855,000 in that area.
  5. I solved the problem by giving them away. Just run the otters now.
  6. I used rick's #'s also. I can run a 6,10 leads and a copper of the boards with out problems. That is at once. I run 200# power pro for tow line. I don't have a mast so tow line runs off front corner of hard top. Pulley is probably 7-8 above water, But I don't get no big bows In tow line Like you described. Good luck and hope anything I mentioned helps.
  7. Well I ran the 44's in the past and they did perform well with the 300 copper. My only issue was when they dove with a fish on.
  8. Will try to dig out my boards later and get those measurement's for you. It did make a big difference in how they pulled.
  9. I would do what Gill-T suggests Sounds like you need to adgust tow rope on otter boat. I usually run to leads and a copper of the otters and dont have the bow you mention. Search the posts here. Yankee gave the measurements so they pull hard. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  10. Just run otter boards with double keels. Handles copper and multiple leadcores at once. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United Wish I had pics to share.
  11. Wow dont know what to say? I quit running them but not due to that reason. Ran 300' coppers off them with no problems. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United

  13. Capt Vince, you are correct about the crystal clear waters but one cant blame the clean water act. Those mussels are doing a better job than any implemented law. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  14. Might want to rethink that idea Mike. More than likely create more problems than solving. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  15. You got some serious cabin fever going on there. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  16. X2 what fins stated. Been running magdas for about 5 years also. Just loosen up drags when not using. Had one with bad line counter so I just use that on rigger rod. At this point if I had to replace i am still ahead given prices of other reels. Never lost a fish due to drag issues. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  17. Like Giz says look above. Good shape and deal. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United

  22. Been saying for years that Lake O's water is too clean. Seeing to bottom and being able to count the rocks in 20 fow is not a good thing from fishing stand point.
  23. Your not familiar with snow removal here in NJ unfortunately.
