  1. 65-75 down but warm water is spilling in now so that may change
  2. Don't despair yet caught some skippers 2 around 10lbs and this guy 26lb4oz today
  3. Fished off Braddocks this morning. Started in tight 75 FOW and we caught a 5 lb brown. We worked out to 250 FOW took a skipper king and headed back in. We picked up a steelhead and another small king. When we got into 160 FOW the 300 copper with a Big Weenie meat rig fired hard! Line screaming out towards Canada! We cleared lines and started maneuvering so I could gain on the fish as I couldn't budge it. Finally after 1/2 hour we put a beautiful 26lb 4 oz king on the deck! We caught a couple more 8-10 lb kings another brown and a couple lakers. Finally tally was 11 for 11 with the biggest fish of the season Good luck and good fishing! DD
  4. try out a bit deeper, I also was out for an hour or so around noon yesterday off the river It was just to sporty to fish by myself,I fished for an hour picked up 1 big laker in 75FOW( was targeting browns) then pull up and called it a day. Almost zero fleas on my line
  5. Have a Seagate 60 for my 400' copper and love it, have a convector for my 300 copper and it's a piece of crap
  6. I was east off Hedges, it's been as you described until today
  7. Wow it's not that hard... As stated cowbells and spin n glow or peanut 2' off the bottom trolled slow 100-130 FOW and you will fill your boat
  8. Did a solo run this afternoon. Ended up 4 for 4 a brown, steelhead, and 2 kings a skippy and a nice teenager. All came on the same spoon Stinger white with green dots. Couldn't, get the dipsy with FF to fire. Fish all came 140-150 FOW 65-72 down. Now for the good news the fleas were not so bad hardly any on the sea flea and not so many on the wire! Good luck and good fishing! DD
  9. Chris glad you got it figured out. I think I saw you right behind us when we left port
  10. We headed east again and we were fishing the IBFG club tournament. Big kings eluded us yesterday , we lost a mid teenager at the net, lost a major on the 400' copper and had a another when a 50lb leader broke on the 300' copper. We ended up 22 for 26 tons of lakers , managed a couple browns and a nice steelhead. We ended up with 1st place steelhead,3rd place brown as well as 3rd place laker. Big Weenie meat rig on the 400 copper was hot all day as well as Stinger Frost Byte and UV Gator on riggers and dipsys Fished 120-200 FOW Fleas are still awful !!! Good Luck DD
  11. Headed east this morning. Things started slow but picked up. We finished 12 for 14 with 2 kings,2 browns a Steelhead and the rest lakers. Spoon bite, haven't been able to get a FF to fire since last week. DW NBK,DW gator, green alewife and Stinger frost byte took all the fish. Fleas are as bad as I've ever seen, even getting on 30 lb sea flea, rigger cables and hooks on the lures. Check your lines every 15 to 20 minutes or you will have a mess! Fished 100 FOW to 200 FOW fish came from 65-90' down Good luck and good fishing! DD
  12. Headed out for a late afternoon trip. Water temps down are still all over the board with pockets of warm and cold water. 18. Slipped out around noon for a solo trip out of I bay. I headed east and set up 3 rods in 100 FOW, 2 riggers and a dipsey. I only got in a little over an hour before storms started rolling in . Took 2 quality fish a nice steelhead and fat brown.Steelhead put on a show jumping 6' out of the water 4 times before I finally remembered to turn the Go Pro on. Steelhead came in 100fow down 73' on DW gator, the brown came in 85' fow down 75' on DW NBK After I landed the brown it was time to get out of Dodge as the lake was capping and lightning in the distance.
