  1. Here is a place on the water where you can keep your boat. https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/50877416?check_in=2024-03-16&check_out=2024-03-21&guests=1&adults=1&s=67&unique_share_id=85300d9a-377a-42d4-871c-14cfc3e3ad1f We perfer to rent to fisherman. Let me know if you have questions.
  2. Very easy fishing out of Oswego right now, any direction. Meat is taking a majority of the bites
  3. Honestly the black releases are best for your riggers. You can adjust them to as tight and loose as you want. If you are running attractors on the scotty releases just bury the line all the way. You will see the tip of the pole move when a small fish is on. We use Scotty releases when fishing for lake trout for that exact reason. Save yourself some headache and go with those black releases. We set ours very tight when fishing for kings.
  4. Angling Addict- looking for to seeing you and the team next year. Seeyawader - See you next week! It will be a great event- let me know if you need any updated information/reports
  5. Gearing up for the Oswego Pro/Am tournament next weekend, July 9th and 10th. Fished out of Oswego yesterday and found all year classes of salmon and they were chewing. We ended landing 8 dumping another handful of bites by 9am. Largest was just pushing the 20lb mark. Atommik flies and meat rigs took the majority of the bites. Temp was deep but pulled fish out of temp. Here is the link to the event with details: www.oswegoproam.com. Online registrations are available until midnight on July 5th. Entries after July 5th can be found at the local tackle shops: All Seasons Sports, Fat Nancy's, Woody's Tackle, and Sonny's Fishing Center. There are already more boats registered than 2021. Look forward to an awesome event!
  6. Bite was slow on Sat- boated a dozen or so fish, all lakers. Sunday the fish were on the chew, easy fishing. Wind was blowing but fishable. Lunker was a ~ 13lb pike, largest laker was less than 10lb, brown was ~7.5lb. Good fish were brought in. We couldnt break the 8lb mark but had a ton of fun trying.
  7. Cheaters are only used when running spoons. You are asking for a mess if you running attractors and cheaters. I use a rubber band to secure the cheater. Need a barrel swivel for the cheater to prevent line twist.
  8. Cheaters are very effective. 8-10ft leader length and I stack 8-12ft above the ball. Once you are fishing 25+fow cheaters are used on my boat.
  9. 1999 Eagle Spirit trailer for 22ft boat. Brand new tires (2021) All bunks are good shape, 3 were replaced in 2020 Hand winch Extra tire Lights and brakes are in working order 4,000lb capacity Small crack needs a quick weld Located near Syracuse, NY
  10. Yes- it has been open for a month. Plenty of action
  11. not many targets in the harbor. There are fish but need to go deeper
  12. I have found it tougher to fish for browns in the late fall. Once the water cools down they could be anywhere. I find them harder to turn in September and October before the make their way upstream. That said I have had good days. As the post above mentions, river mouths are always a good starting point. Spoons and stickbaits.
  13. its been a slow pick. Try in tight and work your way out
  14. It has been good for the past 3 days. A lot of fish being taken inside 300fow.
  15. It was really good last week. Wind last few days have moved the fish around.
  16. We could arrange to take you out. Always happy to help out someone with kids. Out of the eastern basin, Oswego/Mexico.
  17. That net job......ouch. nice fish!
  18. I use one color cores in lieu of weigh rods.
  19. mono flat line with a pitch weight to get the spoon down 2-3 ft. Mostly used in the spring targeting BT when you want to run spoons.
  20. Its been very slow for browns, don't waste your time. Lakers are plentiful,
  21. This is another good site to use. www.fishweather.com - Have to check all the sources available.
