  1. this is a great thread. I know what im doing this weekend.. spoon box building!!! thanks guys for all the ideas..
  2. I believe even if we stocked the hell out of it on the south shore we would still need to fish the north shore to have catch rates to match that of Lake Erie. Just my opinion? the north shore has much better fishing for walleye. I believe if there were more fish in the lake our fishing would improve somewhat but the north shore would be great fishing..
  3. Wow that’s great!! from this chart we didn’t have a flood last spring or summer? Must have been a bad dream???? Lol. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United

  15. Pap I have several calls. I have an old Jonny steward record player that takes 12 D batteries. Lol. (That old caller killed hundreds of Fox) and I’m sure someone will disagree with me but. In my opinion a lanyard full of mouth calls is the best way to go. Let me explain. Fox are easy to kill with about any call. Coyotes are not even in the same family as Fox. They are extremely hard to fool and there so many people out there educating them it’s hard to find a call they haven’t heard. You like me hunt Pa. we have a ****load of coyotes but we also have a ****load of Fox hunters that hunt coyotes the same as they hunt Fox this makes for educated coyotes. You need to get some calls that no one else has used. Some tips: don’t use a call sequence shake it up. Don’t be afraid to be very aggressive. Good luck and shoot straight. 18. I live about 4 miles from green tree land fill in Elk Co. Pa. they have an incinerator. I was surprised by the lack of ash fallout. But the smell it puts off is awful. There’s is a methane fired incinerator and you can really smell the methane when the wind shifts our direction. Thankfully that isn’t very often. But the people who live down wind of it complain a lot about the smell. There are trucks from jersey, New York, Ohio, all coming to Pa. to dump their garbage. 19. Great job lad!! Keep it going. Now that you have one make sure you collect the piss after you skin it. It’s really good cover sent for coyotes and it seams to help bring in the ones that have been educated within gun range. I use a hypodermic needle to extract it. . Tractor supple has them cheap. Congrats and merry Christmas. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  20. I caught one of my biggest eyes floating an egg sack in the same location ( mine was 11.5 pounds) I can tell the location from the background in the picture. You had a great year judging from the pictures. Great job and merry Christmas to you and yours. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  21. You know back in the day they use to put big triple hooks thru a hunk of meat and hang it above a bone pile about 4 feet off the ground after the dogs started working the pile. The next day there would be one swinging. At least that’s what my grandpa use to tell me. I’m pretty sure this wasn’t legal but it was effective, he use to say. Lol.
