  1. We got lucky too we didn’t get any snow, just cold. I’m getting the little boat ready this weekend for our annual Oak Orchard weekend. 5th 6th & 7th. We’ll be trolling for Browns. I’d like to bring the big boat but don’t want to have to re-winterize it when I get back home. [emoji53] Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United

  3. I agree it’s very high. But my plan for next year is to have a 15hp 4 stroke mounted on the back with full controls up front. For piece of mind if nothing else. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  4. I have a bayliner 2452 hard top. I use 2 - 28” Amish trolling bags, they work great. There are 2 of them 4 sale on here cheap. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  5. It has to get warm soon. If I tie any more salmon flies, walleye harnesses, perch rigs, or laker rigs, I’m going to sink the boat. The only thing I have to do to ready the boat is plug in the lights and put the batteries back in. I can’t remember cabin fever ever being this bad. IM GOING CRAZEY!!!!!! 8. I use 2 laps of mono, 1000 feet of steel then 12-20 feet of 30Lb mono. It makes it easer to break down your poles for storage. Also makes deployment easer. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United

  11. I’m with Papa on this. I believe the earth is constantly evolving and has been for ever. I don’t believe we have a big impact on that. Mother Earth don’t care what we think the she should be doing. She does her own thing. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United

  17. I bought the bad elf, it was designed for pilots to use with IPads. It works really well and the accuracy is much better than some of the cheaper ones on the market. It will work with any tablet that has Bluetooth, and you can link up to 5 devices to it at a time. I highly recommend it. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  18. When fishing with my Dad I have to tell him after he has caught 2 or 3, if you catch 1 more before I get 1 your swimming back. Lol. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  19. I have the app on my ipad, the only down side is I had to buy a gps receiver that sends to my ipad using the ipad Bluetooth. I use it on my boat and on my buggy (RZR) it works really well and is portable.
  20. That’s a great deal. I paid 140.00 for my 28” bags. Perfect for my 2452 bayliner hardtop. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United

  23. I haven’t fished Ontario main lake for eyes but I use to fish bay of Quinn a lot. I always started with mostly sticks and spoons. If that isn’t working I’ll slow down and go to worm harness. The reason I try sticks and spoons first is they can be fished a lot faster with less hassle and you catch less junk. If I still can’t get bit on harnesses I’ll go stealth with light lite line and a slow death at drifting speeds. If that doesn’t work and I’m on Erie I’ll go deep 100 fow + for a few lakers. Or go find a mud flat for some perch. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
