  1. Saw no difference on lake O with or without while trolling. Big difference on the Hudson for stripers.... Guess it depends on a lot of variables.
  2. Blue Oyster Cult - Perfect Water
  3. Blues can be caught at Oregon Inlet. For spotted redfish, the holy grail is fishing at Hatteras point. We go down every year. Also check out Jenettes Pier, and the piers at Rodanthe and Avon.
  4. How about Hughes marina in Williamson? Any word if it's ice free?
  5. Thanks, I wanted to be sure, I pulled it from a video....
  6. Thanks, that was my assessment as well, but like you said the pics are terrible.
  7. Anyone recognize the model? Supposed to be a Rapala...
  8. Awesome. Genny river video???
  9. Latitude lines in minutes. 43 degrees 25 MINUTES, etc. Roughly 5 miles out from the oak.
  10. And the winner is?????????????
  11. It was so clear at P'ville, my wife thought we were in danger of grounding when we were in 25' of water. Found some marks out at 70, but no takers. Called it early and got back just in time to get hailed on at the dock.
  12. Well, I just called and got no answer, so that doesn't look good.....
  13. I've been using this for years, seems pretty accurate most of the time... https://marine.weather.gov/MapClick.php?zoneid=LOZ045#.W3RDXuhKjIV
  14. What spoon could hold such magic? It's like asking your recently divorced wifes twin sister out on a date!
  15. Don't make me ask man.......................................
  16. Beginning to think this would be a perfect technique for solo fishing......
  17. I've heard each ounce is good for 7 feet, but I have not measured this.. Not sure if it holds true for all lines.
  18. Old thread, but I just saw it.... It's a shame. I grew up in Lakeland and my father often took me out on Onadaga. I remember the distinct petrochemical smell that was sooo strong in the air. (This was back in 1968) And we would always have to wash the boat when we got home...
  19. Broke 2 off? Yikes. Did the lure fail?
  20. Thanks! That's another lure I have to try.... LOL Seriously, they look pretty good, and in all the right colors.
  21. Just wondering if anyone else is having any success using either the Brads Superbaits or the Yakima Spin-N-Fish? I know they are a mostly west-coast area type of lure, but they do have a good meat rig style of spin and they can be filled with scent. I have never noticed anyone mentioning them in the reports, but maybe someone has had luck?
