    I was hoping for some advice in terms of locating pike on lake alice as there is really only one spot i know of that my buddy has caught a few at that tried to eat a bass he caught

    It is actually possible that tiger was there to try to spawn from what i have heard the females can but the males cant so they would spawn with a pike and the young would revert back to pike

    Something i dont hear talked about is the size of the alewives could that be an effect or cause of smaller fish

    Fair but any fish species that is reliant on natural reproduction is gonna hurt every time a big fish is no longer there to spawn

    I was wondering if recently anyone has been down to the Conesus inlet and had footage of the pike making it over the dam as i have only heard they were making it over this year but have no actual footage and is also quite a drive for me

    DEC has failed to put in slot limits i think some people also don't know about fish recovering from barotrauma and other factors where the fish don't make it I think people are less considerate or worried about the stocked fish species especially considering how focused on the trout salmon the dec tends to be

    Does botulism actually effect the fish seems like it effects only birds and humans fair point about the heavy metals i think the goby solution is the only option plentiful enough at this point unless someone wants to stock alewives and create a huge disaster

    Would be better off getting the dec at the hatchery to feed them gobies or to get whatever place that makes the food to mix in the remains of gobies

    Worth split rings you can buy in bulk If you do decide to buy from them i would recommend in the filters for material base you pick steel and zinc for the finish as for trebles i have been trying to get on board with replacing them entirely with owner single inline replacement hooks it was a while ago but i remember reading something about single hook also having a better hook up ratio

    Doubt it it only froze Wednesday night with major cracks being visible from dock bubblers on thursday and it still being open water around those docks on friday (source working right out there on the lake)

    Anyone have any advice for conesus pike and tigers i got a lot of big pike last year and decent ones earlier this year and even my first tiger but after that i haven't even been able to get a bite would also love any advice on tigers
