    Remember in the late 80s early 90s fall ESLO derby About 10AM when it slowed down alittle someone would say happy birthday George then everyone would start. every fall ESLO this happened. Still don't know who he is.LMAO

    When it was the ESLO the prize money was more new boats new trucks those were the days. From pulaski to oswego there was 20 sports stores all open early and closed late. You had to book your room that year for next year. You couldn't get in the Goldenfish restaurant if you fished late and it was open till 10pm.the fall ESLO looked like a floating city in the early morning from Mexico to Sand pond to Oswego.

    If you have a problem finding them take a look at the fishusa flagship rods. I purchased 2 in 9ft downrigger. They work very well 2yrs and not one issue.

    we fished out of fair haven this weekend I did notice running 2.0 to 2.2 meat and fly worked ok but spoons never fired when speed was 2.5 to 2.8 spoons were on fire and paddle shut down I think its hard to pull both and be productive.

    maybe put seeforellen brown trout back in. I believe they put them in years ago and that is what the lake record was over 30lbs

    if your going to retap threads coat tap in bearing grease the grease will catch all your aluminum chips and a shop vac wont hurt to help catch small chips

    Thats funny they would say that because in Texas they have a program called sharedlunker 13plus. if you catch a bass over 13 lbs and loan it to them during the spawn jan thru march for our selective breeding program you are a legacy member the reason is to make more big bass .Texas knows this n.y can't seem to grasp that concept.It is truly sad.

    Maybe select larger fish at the hatchery and take some salmon at different months years ago week caught salmon in november in front of salmon river, Don't take all the small kings that run early,

    like I said just wondering because lures change color as they get deeper in the water column. red turns grey and barely visible white stays white and highly visible as does glow spoons. that why we use glow and alot of white back spoons for trolling. black is greyish say at 80ft or deeper. i have black sharks now. was going to powder coat white for this season at see what happens.

    Just wondering if the color would make a big difference in the amount of fish caught . is chrome better than black or is glow better or it doesn't matter at all.
