Launched next to Coast Guard Station at 6:45am, pulled out at 1:30pm.  Spent the first hour in close but the gin clear water would not stop.  Moved out into 65fow still hoping to find some browns.  Began catching Lakers,,, NICE ONES.  Picked up about 15 and all but one was over 10lbs with the biggest at 18lbs.  Never saw much on the screen.  Lakers saved the day for us.  Water temp at 46deg.  Early in the day we saw 3 other boats.  As the day wore on it seemed as if we were the only ones on the lake.  Early spring fishing is tops with me,, no fleas, no biting flies, no weeds, and little fishing pressure.  Quite a few boats in the bay fishing for perch. Beautiful day on the water.
