Are there better options for the handheld flares I buy every few years to stay legal ? 

 

Anything out there that lasts longer and has better value ?

Electric USCG approved flares. Buy once, keep your old expired chemical flares as back ups.

I have this one...... put on sunglasses indoors...LOL
