Set lines in 80fow  this morning just before 7am.  Sent down my normal spread of 2 riggers, 2 divers and 2 long lines.  Went 0/1.  First time skunked out there in years.  There were some fish on the screen in 100-120fow.  Had fish in our gear all morning but no takers.  Pulling spoons, F/F and some fake meat rigs.  Switched to lakers for a bit bouncing bottom with bells where we got our only hit. Lots of dead alewives.  Mouth of the creek was thick with live and half dead ones.  Cant wait for some consistent weather....

Same, but we landed ours - a five pound steelhead. The marks are enough to drive you crazy.

Yeah , well 2 mornings in a row out of my row boat , no fish . I don't think that ever happened to me in all the years I've been there .

Lots of bait and a bunch of brown trout stockys

Hopefully this west wind and warm weather straightens things out

5/26

Was our first trip out this year!

We did the same, running spoons and divers.

Started around 100'.

Spread anywhere from 35' to 50' down.

Dropped one off a dipsey when we got out to 200 fow.

We saw you as we motored out. The amount of bait running alongside the boat was unreal. IMHO, these fish are stuffed to the gills with easy pickings, creek and lake both.
