Fish hawk issue

New one on me. Shows down temp ten degrees warmer than surface.

Not sure wich probe you have but I have their New Lithium probe paired.with the X-4 display and mi e did the same thing back early may.  After giving me goofy high down temps lime that for a few trips it went to saying the down temp was 32.4 to 32.6.   I contacted fish hawk and they sent me a new probe to try.   Put new probe on and it is back to normal.   I have a feeling your unit is probably going to do the same thing.   Not sure why and from speaking with fish hawk they were not clear on why it happened.   I  found emailing.tjem is the best action.  They responded to my questions with in a few hours
