Lines in at 7 this morning.  Started in 60 and headed out to 150 with the best screen around 135.  Temp break was down  40 with 39 degree water from 60-150fow..  At one point i had fish on the screen and in my gear consistently with no takers.  Was pulling spoons and a couple of attractors.  Not many dead alewives but there were some.  We ended up fishing for lake trout for the last 45 minutes with bells and landed three all above 10#.  Lakers were all very fat.   DEC boat was parked by the yacht club doing a survey and they made it seem like there werent very many fish being caught.

Nice day to be out on the water.

I just slipped out of Sandy to 65 foot. The amount of bait is amazing. I accidentally caught a skippy that was eating bait that was almost as big as itself and sent it back to do some more gorging. I told it that I would like to meet again in 2 years time.
it is nice to have a slip instead of trailering.
