Meat for meat rigs

So I've done a lot of reading on meat rigs and they seem pretty effective from what I've read and seen.  My only question is where do you get the "meat" for the meat rig.  I've seen some artificial stuff but I'm a big believer in the real thing.  Do bait shops around the lake carry cut bait to use?  Can you order some on line

Most tackle shops close to the lake sell cut bait. What port are you near? Also there are a couple local companies you can buy from directly (Rigged Cut Bait and A-TOM-MIK) both have websites you can google
