Wanted to try jigging and bought the baits for it.  Marked lots fish and bait pods around 105FOW both lakers on the bottom and suspended.  Could see fish following baits but nobody wanted to play.  Was using the drop to bottom and reel to surface technique.  New to jigging so not sure if right way to do.  3/4 oz jig heads white and yellow with primarily white paddle tails and also 3oz vertical jigging spoons of numerous colors, whites, greens, mixed....  

 

Switched to trolling around 9:30 and had 2 majors on with crack off's in 140 FOW West troll 70 and 80 feet down on lead core center planer and a white and hammer fly spin doctor  (thanks Yankee Trollers!) on rigger at 80 feet.  Lead core was with a F/N mag spoon.  Also had a spoon hit green spot NK with black spot back at 70 down over same water.  

 

Was hoping could figure out the jigging but was encouraged the king bite is picking up!

2 ounce Mission Jigs. Drop them to where the marks show up on your graft and lift the rod up and down.
