Vacationed on Keuka last week and trolled a couple mornings . We did a slow evening pleasure cruise around the W branch of the lake early in the week to scout things out and then we found the fish in those same areas both of the next 2 mornings. We caught probably 15 lakers Wednesday in four hours of fishing and then Thursday morning we dialed-in on them right away, boating 20 lakers, including 15 keepers, in just two hours. Only lakers and none over about 22", but it was a lot of fun. 40-45' down over 120-160 fow was best for us and our best lure was an orange/yellow spoon.

A 22 there is now a big fish.  Easy to get limit but they are small and 25% are under the limit size.  they do taste good though......jk

Of course we were up last week too and got an easy limit  BUT small of course.  Going up tomorrow.  Largest just made 22 inches and they spit out little 1 inch perch even the ones form 100 feet of water.   Oh we did see a few schools of bait up high 20 feet down.  Can these be perch or what are they?   Small schools that do not cover the width of the depth finders screen......jk
