After spending most of July fishing smaller local lakes, and Lake Michigan with the boys it was finally to shake the rust off with Lake Ontario. We left the dock around 915, and with river surface temps in the upper 60s we decided to stay close to shore.

Running a three rod spread, we setup in 45 fow. Chinook diver, and two downriggers, all running shiny spoons. By the time I had the third rod set we had a fish on the chinook diver. Netted the fish and the downrigger fired. Unfortunately that one got off pretty quick.

Left shortly after the excitement and back at the dock around 1030. Toddler boys got what they came for and were ready for lunch. IMG_7149.thumb.jpeg.283925d6a41af5ddf4c735062459b6fd.jpegIMG_7148.thumb.jpeg.a6d05b09a20e28be64a58898375d14e3.jpegIMG_7150.thumb.jpeg.99683e75dd4c0fec70da712dde366f6d.jpeg
