Thin ice

So I'm driving  west on the Parkway about lt1:30  and I get to 390 and I look out on the pond there on the north east side of the bridge

. I look out and see a guy up to his armpits waving his arms . I jack on the breaks and pull off and get out . I have my work truck and a bunch of extension cords so I figure I can tie them together to throw them out to him.  I get ready to call 911 and I see a few fireman and their truck across from me . They were doing ice rescue training .
