Live scoping does look fun but there is something relaxing about setting out a spread and rod watching. Of course the last few years there is very little downtime due to terrific fishing

Fished out of buffalo last weekend and the fish werent there in numbers like a few weeks ago.  Im assuming they moved out to deeper/colder water.  My question is will they be back once the water gets colder?  Any info is appreciated.  Thank you!

From what I have heard, the answer is yes. A few of the guys I know that live in Buffalo fish in the evenings again close to the harbor break walls similar to what they do in the spring.  Exactly when that starts though, I am not sure.

Fishing out if the Cat yesterday was tough. The two day previous blow scattered the bait and fish. We did scrape together a two man limit but it took a lot longer. Best area was out over 86’ . We only marked one small school of bait. The fish we caught were 65’ on the riggers and 130-140 on wire divers set at 1 1/2.
