Amish outfitter board releases

Hi guys,

I am converting to these as big board releases this year  and have a few questions 

1-when pulling 3-400’ copper do I use rubber band (if so what size band?) or clip braid backer directly into release ?

2-are rubber bands strickly for mono lines ?

I use these releases on dog clips. For copper I would use two releases per line

Thank you , I have an array of releases scotty, lauverick and others. I see amish on a lot of charters so figured they weeded through most manufacturers and found them reliable so I converted . I did find a older dirty goose video explaining how they use them with lines of different lb. Test and coppers that was very infomative . Thx Gil
