After looking out the window at the office and seeing beautiful weather this week, it took minimal effort to convince my wife to come along on a Fall foliage boat ride today.  Unfortunately, the damn fish kept biting so the trip was not all sipping wine and munching Hors d'oeurves.

Mid-morning launch out of Taughannock and right out of the chute it was game on and stayed busy for the 4 hours we trolled.  Very colorful screen with bait pods and fish actively feeding.  Majority of the fish were Lake Trout, (a couple Rainbows, one nice one), with about half still bloated with eggs so looking like they are in the middle of spawn time.

Attached pictures don't do the landscape or the fish justice.  If you have the time, get out on the lake and enjoy!
