leader length Dipsey to flasher question

What would be a good leader length from Dipsey to Flasher and what lb. test ?

Also what is an ideal speed range for Salmon using flasher/Flys ? Slower than spoons?

i run a 8 foot leader and it seems to work ok. as far as speed do you have a down speed probe, if not start around 2.5 -2.8 sog

I run slide divers on my dipsy rods. I attach a swivel to my main line with a three foot leader to the flasher. I find that a lot easier when bringing the fish in & it still doesn't interfere with the flasher when fighting the fish. That way I can run the diver at any distance I want from the flasher.
