SUMMARY & FURTHER DETAILS

====================

Great fishing both days - lots of fish, many big guys. We landed a 25#-er this morning and two 22#-er's yesterday. Threw the 25#-er back, even though we're all registered in the LOC. Otherwise, everything continues to fire other than our 10-color core. Riggers were better this morning, but the wire Dipsy continues to produce the biggest fish. No bites on the Kelly Green spinny/crinkle green fly, but we caught 8 or 9 over the two days on the green dot spinny/Hammer fly #3 setting, out 240-310'. We had to replace the Hammer fly b/c it got destroyed after today.

We stayed east of the Bay and it seemed to hold a lot of fish and bait, especially in the 160-180 fow area. Free sliders on the riggers (Dirty White Boy, Glow frog) also worked well, both on riggers 85' and 115' down. The deep baits on the riggers (42 second, NBK) also caught fish including the steelhead down 115'.

We did not get any bites on our red/orange steelhead lures......

Fish seem to like it a little faster lately - around 2.4 and 2.5 mph at the ball....

Good luck to all in the LOC....hopefully we'll see a 40 #er this year!

- Chris
