fishing the river

If a guy wanted to fish the river this time of year I assume the best place to put in would be lewiston. But I am wondering the best way to go about fishing for steelhead (what to use?) Any info would be greatly apppreciated.

eggs, kwikfish, minnows, pink worms, yarn flies.. blah blah... pretty much anything that catchs steelhead in the tribs will get u fish on the niagara...

Yeah, you put in at Lewiston. I would recommend doing the artpart drift for the most part until you get familiar with the river. Devils hole is a great spot, but if you have any boat issues it can be unforgiving.

When the water is high and fast people use kwikfish, if it's lower and slower eggs, bead, emerald shinners, ect
