I second that question and how is the ice? I'm half chicken, half fraidy cat, and neither of them like to get wet.

Hey Coup - I'm looking to hit up Bass Pro tomorrow for a new shanty and some fluoro for my new tip-ups, and then hopefully heading onto Sodus Thursday. Are you game if the ice is good?

Man o man. I have plans with a friend to go chase rabbits Thurs. I can play on Fri. am till noon or so if the ice is good.

Ice is around 5". Whole bay is frozen, but don't know how it is out towards the middle. Lots of people around Leroy is. and by Skippers. Fishing was slow today.

Fished sodus today off Grassy point. caught 3 nice perch 1-1/2 to 2 lbs. and a couple small throwbacks. pretty slow but the quality is good. 3-4 inches good black ice. Nobody has gone off South Shore or third creek yet, and I wasn't going to play guinea pig. can't wait for South shore to be safe.

Thanks guys for the ice report. My buddy called me from bay bridge today as a small atv drove right through the docks and up the launch to get loaded on a trailer. I think I'll hoof it for a bit.

Hey Coup - Friday's out for me, I've got to watch the little one. I think Woody is available if you want some company. I'll let you know how I make out today - picked up a new Frabill Camando shanty yesterday and I'm Jones'in to try it out! I think I will target the area between Leroy and Newark Islands, since it seems the other areas were slow yesterday. It was killer there last year...
