looking foward to trolling for some spring browns, though i have a lot of luck putting on watters and casting in front of my parents house

If you see a yellow sit-in kayak paddling or trolling past with an absurd amount of rod holders and a net on it, then its probably me I troll the ponds alot in early spring and late fall, cant wait for things to heat up! Dont know if i will be paddling towards cranberry because i usually troll east towards the Genny, but if i hear you puttin a hurtin in 'em i'l have to paddle on down

I've been wanting to go and try for some spring browns this year. Haven't done it before. What part of spring is the best time to go around the Niagara area??? Is it basically stick baits off planer boards??

Yes Tony. Typically it gets started a bit earlier from Sodus to the Oak. We can be delayed because of the ice out situation from Lake Erie/Niagara river. Going good by mid April in Niagara county, a couple weeks sooner to the east.
