Congrats Andy and Tom! My son Steven and I headed out of Deans and steered towards long point. Once we past the point we started a steady pick of Lakers. First laker was on a cheater down 35ft over 300. This quickly turned into a pattern for us so we stuck with. Only had one fish hit a FF combo all day. We boated several lakers up to 10.9lbs and not one of them was deeper than 40 feet. Aside from the great Laker fishing we just couldn't seem to put any legal silver fish in the boat. We did get one small Bow and one sub-legal salmon. Steven had a blast and being it was just the two of us I had him do the reeling and he did a spectacular job only dropping one fish. Can't wait to get the little one out fishing!
