Rods per person

How many rods or lures per person can you have out in the water at the same time for Lake O. South side or north side. Basically I have two downriggers with dual rod holders and rocket launchers for the dipsys. Can I have a total of 6 rods out or 2 people in the boat.

Fishing in fresh water in NYS,anglers are allowed 3/rods/person...Zeke & Cyn(Strike 3)

Still 2 per person in Province of Ontario waters though.

Read the Regs. on the water your fishing ..... it varies, NY is 3 on Ontario
