LL salmon ???

Recommended Posts

The finger lakes have more than L.L. salmon to offer. Some big browns.lakers, northern pike, bass, panfish and so on. The finger lakes are over shadowed by the great lakes but when you get down to it the fish that we catch are world class. I thank my lucky stars I live so close. Wes

Couldn't agree more, they may not produced the huge sizes you see consistently in the greats but as far as diversity of species, and sheer beauty you would be hard pressed to find another chain of lakes in the northeast U.S that can match ours.

Panfish yeah it's classified as one but with a max depth of around 80 feet and a dam, that was first done in the 1800s. It was more like a pond. Oh and its twenty feet deeper now and that spot is not that big. Oh by the way I'm 38 and grew up on it and skaneateles. The point of the post was land locks and this "finger" lake doesn't have them.
