SUMMARY & FURTHER DETAILS

Finally had the chance to fish with my son, Steve, for salmon....Put in at Sandy Creek launch around 6:30 AM. Still having trouble starting my 150HP Mercury, but I got it started....Lake was very calm...Surface temps were showing 56 degrees in close. My son decided that we should go deep...Set up in around 220 FOW and trolled north...Scattered the depths of our lures...Finally in around 370FOW the dipsey rod starts screaming....After a 25 minutes battle we boated a nice 24-35 pound king...After a few high fives we reset and putted around for another hour...Picked up a skipper king and then a 5-6 pound king in around 220 FOW...Had to go so we pulled up and motored in and off the water by 10AM....What a great day with my son...AMEN
