changing impeller on honda 9.9?

Well spring fever hit me hard today so I went out and hooked up my 2005 honda 9.9 to the muffs to make sure she was still runnin like a top. Ran great but never spit any water out after about a minute so I shut if off. I opened up the covers for the impeller and there were bits of rubber so I pulled the lower unit off to find a ruined impeller. I have everything out and plan to go out to seagars in canandaigua monday to purchase another impeller.

Is there anything else I should replace while I've got the lower unit off? I assume it should go back on the same was it came off.

Thanks in advance, Zack

no, it does not effect it. just a reminder. check the seals, if any, that are in the water pump housing. make sure no water got in the new fluid. there may be an o-ring or gasket in the water pump housing that needs attention. i am not that familiar with honda.
