Finally the wind didn't blow on a day we could go fishing.  Everything looked to be good.  An organized clean boat, new lines, and lures, but the most important was we had the luckiest fisherman ever named John with us again. What a first trip of the season!!!  1 coho, 1 laker, and BROWN CITY.  20 something for 30 something.  A 5 fish fire drill and 4 fish fire drill filled the bottom of the boat in the first hour!  Kept the bigger ones and let the runts go. Most action in 10 to 25 FOW just out side of the muddy looking water.  Glow spoons on the riggers took the bigger fish but the smithwicks on the boards produced the fire drills and most of the action.  One brown pushed 15 lbs and a few were 10 to 12ers.  Majority of the fish were around 4 to 8lbs.  I hope this happens the rest of the season!!!!  Good luck!!!!
