Anyone know a contact number for the marina in Youngstown ( Lower Niagara )? I heard that they will reopen and if so will they have gas available? I have (716) 745-7000 but it's not a working number. Thanks..

The marina in Youngstown has been sold, two doctors have bought it. As of today, the rumor is that they will be open this year as a marina similar to the way it was in the past. As the boating season approaches I am sure there will be more details available, if I can find a number I will post it as soon as possible.

Hello John,

Mermet Erk (716-631-8212) and George Haddad(716-633-1730) are the the two doctors that purchased the marina. I left a message with Dr. Erk's secretary and waiting to here back from him. Hopefully, they will be accommodating to fisherman and also look at the financial benefit of being a weigh-in station for the LOC. I hope this helps, also let me know how things work out for you. I live in Youngstown and now I'm curious.

Got in touch with the new manager. They plan on having gas in the mornings during the LOC. Dock is $150/week. They will have shore power, regular lighting in the building and your own gas must be filled at the outside dock. Seemed like a real nice guy. Maybe we'll run into each other in May.

Was able to get a slip for all of May. May have to move slips if the yearly rentals get there early.
