Chaumont/Henderson Ice Conditions?

Was wondering if any one knows what the ice is doing in the bay's? Are they going to be fishable in time for the opener? Thanks

I just took my boat down to Burt Goodenoughs in sandy creek today to get some engine work done and it looked to me like henderson was wide open. I didn't drive to the launch, but i definitely saw wide open water from the road.

Yeah! considering I drove down last week thinking I was going to get into some browns to see the whole bay locked up lol.

I called Henchens Marina Monday and the guy said the ice was all gone clear sailing, talked to Oscar who is the Black River Bay campgrounds and he said he talked to Allen and the camp is a mess and doesn't know if they will be able to open on time this year, also the water level is really high almost up to the BJ Bait Shop door. I didn't get a notice in the mail about not opening, so I guess play it by ear.

Still lots of ice floating in the lake! Sayers bay and rays bay still locked in with ice as of 4/20

Chaumont is clear from what I hear.  I have 2 friends up there and it has been clear since last weekend.  Also they said henderson itself is clear.
