We launched at 06.15 from a very busy ramp. Perch fishermen and lake fisher men jostling for space.

From the bay we went straight to the Genny mouth and joined the river mouth parade which in spite of a few boats running boards was very well behaved. After an hour of seeing fish porpoise and jump but not bite, we left for deeper water. We set up in 190 feet and soon enough we saw bait and hooks at 120 feet down and later at 50 and seventy. The thermocline was around 80 feet down. The catching was not stellar, but 2 small salmon and one laker kept the skunk out of the boat.

Our next trip will probably be in 50 to 60 foot of water going after the browns.

On our way back, around noon,  we saw Upgrady going out .With the beach chairs on the rear deck it did not look like a fishing trip.

Let's hope that this weather holds a bit longer so we can go out a few more times.

We trolled from I bay straight to the genny as well one king came unbuttoned on a three color with a small jplug and made one more pass by the mouth with no hits and pulled lines and ran out to 300fow not much action and scattered hooks on the screen from 100-125 down at 355fow the 321 dipsy fired harder then it has all year and after a brief 100' run it came unbuttoned as well .... Didn't want to run out farther so we pointed straight back toward ibay and dropped back down in 120fow and dropped two riggers to the bottom and finished the day with dozen lakers or so
