Thinking about buying this climber. I have the old school "Dicks" brand with the loop and pin assembly for attaching the cables. Whats the opinion on the way the Summitt cables lock in

The best climber I've used/owned. I LOVE how the cables lock in, you can do it without light if needed. Very quiet and solid. I am not a fan of the big cumbersome seat/back pad. Its in the way when climbing and isnt the quietest to get out of when bowhunting--I plan to convert to their mesh option. Perhaps you can order it that way.

Best climber I have used too.  That seat might be a little cumbersome but man is it comfy!

I bought one new last fall at gander. absolutely awesome. Quiet and easy to use. Its gonna be a work out till you figure out all the little tricks. I love mine

I gun hunted with it in Allegany with my rifle...sweet deal pick any tree that is open for 25 feet and go. I had deer standing right under my feet 3 times. Just spray up good before you climb and use the safety harness!!!
