Scotty rigger stuck in reverse.

Recommended Posts

Last season my riggers worked fine first time out worked fine. Second time out half way threw the day I tried to pull it up and the rigger started going down but started working later that day. It been working of and on. What a pain in the butt. It's just on one side that's not responding properly. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

You must have a wire crossed. If you have the wrong wire connected to the positive a scotty rigger will go in reverse so if it is only doing it sometimes there must be a short somewhere or a crossed wire. Your plug could possibly be faulty too

Yep. Wiring issue. When you reverse the polarity, you will reverse the direction the motor turns. Redo the wiring to your power source and rewire the plug too. Make sure positive is to positive and negative to negative.
