Cannon Swivel Bases - Check for cracks

I’VE WRITTEN TO CANNON A FEW TIMES ABOUT SOME CONSERNS WITH THE NEW STYLE RIGGERS AND NEVER RECEIVED A RESPONSE. So far so good on my 3 new mag 10 riggers but I checked the bases the other day

Does this affect the standard bases or just the low profile bases?

CANNON HAD MADE AN ALL METAL BASE AT ONE TIME BUT CHANGED TO THE PLASTIC BASES  THAT CRACK .THE METAL BASES ARE STILL AROUND ON E-BAY OR OTHER  SIGHTS.THESE BASES WILL STAND UP TO THE ROUGH WATER USING HEAVY WEIGHTS.

I dont know what the standard bases are but I had the low profile swivels.. They do make a all stainless steel swivel base for 169.99.
