I was there last week. Only fished 6 days out of our week...missed the first two due to hard north blow. Water was pretty messed up (mud and weeds) Mon-Wed last week but got better by the end of the week. We still did pretty well on numbers with a nice avg size fish, and got a couple over 50. Water temps behind also...we saw as high as 74 and as low as 64.

I have a friend up there this week and fishing sounds a bit better this week. You should have a good trip as long as you don't have any bad wind direction before you get there. The water is a bit high and we caught our fish a bit deeper water than we normally do, but that was probably due to the mud line last week.

I've been going there for a week every year for the last 15 years, so I have pretty high standards there. Overall we did about half of what we normally do, but i had one less guy and two less rods. Don't know how much experience you have there, but I'm sure you'll have a blast with the action.

You'll have a good trip. Ricky is really nice guy and knows his stuff. I was talking with him quite a bit last week. I'm sure he'll be on fish.
